A BRIEF INFORMATION
THE 5th INTERNATIONAL BUSSINESS MEETING
ON INDONESIAN OVERSEAS WORKERS
THE JAYAKARTA HOTEL YOGYAKARTA, MARCH 22 – 25, 2011
A workshop and business meeting organized by Indonesian National Board for the Placement and Protection of Indonesian Overseas Workers (a Government Body widely known as BNP2TKI) which supported by Indonesian Mission to Brunei Darussalam, Sarawak, Sabah, and Tawau. This meeting will be attended by employment agencies from Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam, Sarawak, Sabah and Tawau where you can meet and make a deal with your business partner directly.
The main objective of the 5th Workshop and Business Meeting is to match the current market situation of human resource through bilateral cooperation of the respective countries and agencies. Furthermore, both senders and users would be able to directly negotiate an agreement on the recruitment and placement of prospective Indonesian Overseas Workers.
The mentioned workshop and business meeting will be held at The Jayakarta Hotel in Yogyakarta, March 22 – 25, 2011. Please note that all participants will have to bear their own air-fare or land-fare transportation, hotel accommodation and package meeting.

1. Introduction
Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam are part of the widely known countries as the main destination for Indonesian Migrant Workers. Historically, thousands hundred to millions informal and formal workers from Indonesia work in various areas of job. They are mainly work in the field of plantation, construction and domestic worker. This year 2011, it would be the Fifth term for the National Board for the Placement and Protection of Indonesian Overseas Workers or BNP2TKI to organize a human resource business meeting which supported by Indonesian Representatives to Brunei Darussalam, Indonesian Consulate General to Sarawak, Indonesian Consulate General to Kota Kinabalu, and Indonesian Consulate to Tawau. This meeting will also be attended by employment agencies from Indonesia, Brunai Darussalam, Sarawak, Sabah and Tawau.
The main objective of this meeting is to share and discuss the current market situation of the respective countries. Furthermore, both senders and users would be able to direct negotiate an agreement on the recruitment and placement of prospective Indonesian Overseas Workers to the fruitful regions in the above mentioned countries.
Our expectaction is to increase the number of skill and profesional Indonesia Overseas Workers working in Brunei Darussalam, Sarawak, Sabah and Tawau by strengthening our networking among the agencies and enhancing bilateral cooperation among the respective governments.
2. Seminar and Discussion Program
The main agenda of the meeting is to be a fruitful medium where Indonesian Representatives to Brunei Darussalam, Indonesian Consulate General to Sarawak, Indonesian Consulate General to Kota Kinabalu, Indonesian Consulate to Tawau, and Agencies discuss and negotiate about manpower supplies on the placement of prospective Indonesian Overseas Workers for the market of above mentioned countries. In case to meet the achievement of both sides, the Organizing Committee from BNP2TKI offers a 2 (two) days seminar and business meeting as attached in Annex 2.

5. Venue and Hotel Accomodation
The international seminar and business meeting will be held at the Jayakarta Hotel and Spa as strategic and friendly hotel which located in Yogyakarta. It is very close to the Adisucipto International Airport, Yogyakarta.
Friendly to write and without any prejudice, BNP2TKI, would be reserved rooms for international or local participants at the Jayakarta Hotel and Spa, Yogyakarta. Hotel accommodation as mentioned below (or others) as well as air fare would be beard by participants. In order to be more fruitful and be familiar in general, all participants are kindly requested to stay at the above mentioned Hotel. Again, please note that all of participants will have to bear their own transportation and accommodation as well as package meeting charges.
