The National Board for the Placement and Protection of Indonesian Overseas Workers (known as BNP2TKI - Badan Nasional Penempatan dan Perlindungan Tenaga Kerja Indonesia) is a government institution, which mandated to optimize the benefit of Indonesian overseas employment programme.
BNP2TKI was established in 2006 by Presidential Regulation No: 81/ 2006. As stipulated by Regulation, the main task of the Board is to carry out the promotion, placement, and protection of Indonesian overseas workers known as TKI.
BNP2TKI through the Deputy of International Cooperation and Promotion, systematically promote the placement of Indonesian overseas workers for formal sector through a range of promotional programmes and activities, such as direct visits to sources of employment, road shows, employment business meetings and exhibition/expo.
BNP2TKI accomplishes its programmes in cooperation with various stakeholders, such as governmental institutions, related association (educations/training centers and profession), and employment agencies.
Employment Business Meeting is an event where we bring together those who demand for Indonesian workers (so called Demander) and those who provide the needed workers (so called Supplier). Demanders may come as prospective employer, employment agencies or other recognized instituion from outside Indonesia, while Suppliers come as Indonesian employment agencies, education/ training centre and profession association within Indonesia.
BNP2TKI (supported by Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and all Indonesian Representative Office in Malaysia, Singapore and Timor Leste, bring together Demanders from Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Serawak, Sabah, Tawau), Singapura, Timor Leste and Supplier from companies from Indonesia.
The "Employment Business Meeting" will be held in Batam, Indonesia, on April 24-25, 2012.
This will be a medium to employ the best Indonesian workers from various sector such as Hospitality, Health, Construction, Oil and Gas.

Employment Business Meeting
Participants:
Demander: International stakeholder i.e. Employer, employment agencies, immigration consultans etc., from Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Serawak, Sabah, Tawau), Singapura, Timor Leste
Supplier: Indonesian Employment Agencies
Mechanism: Demander will be acted as host and provided with a space completed with tables and chairs. Supplier will go to any demander, he/she would be interested to deal with.
A Liaison Officer will be provided to accompany each demander; and to bride the communication among demander, supplier and the committe.
Demander is requested to complete Demand Sheet (below) in order to anticipate the request for Indonesian workers.

BNP2TKI melalui Deputi Bidang Kerjasama Luar Negeri dan Promosi secara sistematis mempromosikan penempatan TKI sektor formal sebagai upaya yang lebih baik dalam menyediakan kesempatan kerja dan perlindungan bagi Tenaga Kerja Indonesia (TKI) yang diiringi dengan peningkatan mutu proses penempatan yang memungkinkan dihasilkannya calon TKI yang berkualitas, sehingga mampu bersaing di pasar kerja Internasional dan mendapatkan keuntungan maksimal dari keberadaannya di luar negeri.
Pengenalan dan pengakuan dunia Internasional akan keberadaan dan kualitas TKI dilakukan dengan berbagai bentuk promosi, seperti kunjungan langsung ke sumber-sumber lowongan kerja, road-show, pertemuan bisnis (employment business meeting) dan pameran/expo. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui kerjasama atau dukungan dari instansi terkait seperti Kementerian Luar Negeri, Institusi Pendidikan/ Pelatihan dan PPTKIS.
Saat ini, BNP2TKI akan mengadakan Employment Business Meeting yang akan mempertemukan stakeholders sektor ketenagakerjaan dari luar negeri seperti potential employers, employment agencies, immigration consultants, pejabat Perwakilan RI serta dalam negeri (supplier) seperti PPTKIS, insitusi pendidikan/pelatihan, asosiasi profesi, instansi pemerintah terkait ketenagakerjaan serta pejabat BNP2TKI.
Negara-negara yang akan hadir dan menjadi sumber permintaan adalah: Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Serawak, Sabah, Tawau), Singapura dan Republic Democratic Timor Leste (Timor Leste).
